Our program is open to students entering grades 9–12. Whether you have prior jazz experience or are new to jazz singing, our instructors meet students where they are to help them grow musically.

No prior jazz experience is required! We welcome beginners as well as experienced vocal jazz singers. Our program is designed to build skills progressively so every student can succeed.

Students will develop:
Jazz improvisation techniques
Ensemble blending and balance
Scales and Chords
Solo performance strategies
Musical interpretation and style

The Institute runs 3 days June 9,10,11 2026 with daily rehearsals, masterclasses, and sectional sessions. Students will have both large-ensemble and small-group experiences, culminating in a final performance.

Tuition for the Institute is $80 before May 1st. $100 dollars after May 1st until the day of the camp. This includes instruction, rehearsal materials, lunch every day, a t-shirt, and a final concert.

Comfortable clothes for rehearsals
A positive attitude and enthusiasm for jazz!

Yes! June 11, 2026 6PM in Hegg Auditorium. Every student participates in a final concert to showcase what they’ve learned. Family, friends, and the community are invited to celebrate the students’ growth and achievements.
